I've been teaching in a Primary school in Dublin for the past seven years; I've loved the work, the kids, the parish and the community but I've got itchy feet and am eager to explore the world a bit more.
I've a Career break booked from Sept 2012 to August 2013 with the intention of backpacking my way around India, Nepal, Australia, New Zealand and South America....any tips would be fantastic.
Up to now I've been to Thailand, Indonesia (Java, Bali, Lombok and the Gilis), Kenya, Tanzania and parts of Europe. If anyone wants any tips on any of the above just shout :)
I'm really excited about the prospects of travelling the world for a year; maybe more and just broadening my horizons and exploring what the world has to offer me and what I have to offer the world. Life is too short, in my opinion, to stick to what you know; "the core of man's spirit comes from experience" and thats exactly what I'm looking for...an experience :)
Looking forward to the adventure ahead; plenty of trekking, diving, boozing, boogying, chilling, culture, writing, reading, skiing, sight seeing...bring it on!!!
