I'm 21, Australian and am looking forward to travelling to south east asia for the 2nd time in my life, this January. Last time went only to Vietnam, but this trip I'll be going solo for three months (or more if I can save enough!). I'm an avid environmental studies student and in my spare time I do wildlife caring, bush walking and eating/cooking. Life is really to short to stay in one town, though! and I'll be looking for like-minded people to meet up with and enjoy things with whilst on my own over-seas! One thing which I like to steer clear from is the perception that westerners are un-appreciative about culture and disrespectful towards locals on their travels. I find that food and family is the key to understanding foreign cultures and will try my hardest to learn what I can via this method!
Rainforests, rainy cities, green countrysides, farmers markets
