I am a UK citizen who has been living, working and traveling outside of the UK and in some rather odd places since way back in 1998. My main time has been here working and traveling around Thailand, but i also had time in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the Middle East as well as Vietnam and many other parts of SE Asia.
I have done an awful lot of trying out of resorts here so to speak as that is part of my work over the years. I have been working in the Real Estate Industry in the main, within Sales and Marketing for resort developers. Right now i am working for the Astudo Hotel and Resort Group, the people who brought you X2 Resorts to name but one, but also Le Bayburi and Away Resorts. You can Google all these names and they should be easy to find. I would add links but LP are stupidly anal about such things claiming i am advertising when in fact i work for myself, but such is the craziness of the world.
Other than this i have lost count of the places and hotels i have stayed in but it is way over 200 last time i counted them in my book. I have stayed in some very odd parts of Thailand that most will never see on my business trips so i feel i am pretty well placed to advise people on where to go, where to stay, how to get there and so on.
I am not hung up on any one area or resort even though i am working with one group now so can be very neutral in my advice. Thailand can be a great place to come and tour, but it can all go so horribly wrong so quick with poor advise and due to being stuck in a poor location or hotel. Let me see if i can help you avoid that.
