I love to travel and have travelled around the world on my own since I was 16, after having gone to boarding school I have lived and worked with many people from across the world and I want to see more of it! Be they countries that make me glad to be British or countries that make green with envy the world is a map that needs to be seen.
I enjoy a great amount of sport playing Rugby, Football, Boxing, Weight Lifting, Running, Swimming and a lot of shooting. (I shot in the European Practical Shotgun Championships)
I enjoy reading books in all forms be they classics or modern. I have found myself to be much happier doing something hard than doing very little at all, I am happy to climb a mountain or eat a meal. Often you will see me doing both! The Snowdonia region is what I see as my playground, who can beat climbing mount Tryfan on a sunday morning?
Until recently I was a member of the territorial army in a para engineer regiment, this gave me many great experiences and further encouraged my desire to travel.
So far and in no order I have been to the following countries
France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Ireland, Kenya, Namibia, USA, New Zealand, Turkey, Corsica, Greece and of course good old Britain
I am currently planning on spending a month away in Sweden or Iceland or 2 weeks in each.
An expensive trip for sure but I will be travelling lightly and using hostels as my place of rest, the rest is all up to me and an Adventure awaits. I will happily take andy advice I am given. For the trip I am learning Swedish which I hope shall be to my advantage and is something of a token of respect to the country I am visiting.
Dublin, Prague, York, Snowdonia, Masai Mara, Swakopmund
