Have lived and worked overseas for nearly 20 years now. I have called North America, Central America, South America, Central Asia, the Caucasus, SE Asia, NE Asia, Oceania and the Middle East all "home". I haven't done much of Africa yet, but there's still time.
On Thorntree you'll likely see me on the threads of the least visited places on Earth: Abkhazia... Yemen... Guyana... Eritrea... or wherever. My travel choices are often focused around the criteria of 'Will i see other travellers?"
Recently, I was working in Venezuela. It's easily one of the most challenging places i've ever lived. Despite having lived in Iraq and Yemen (among others), it just came to a time where Venezuela was no longer a viable place to live. So, i moved from the most dangerous country on Earth to one of the most boring; Qatar (but only for a short contract). Not suiting my taste, I am now in Northern India. Let's see what trouble i can get in... :)
