I have lived in London for 16 years but I am originally from Madrid. I love London but don't rule out going back to my country in the medium future. I am in love with travel since I started (not withstanding a month in Toronto as a student) in the early noughties in New York, Guatemala, Cuba. After a few years I started again in Colombia, Argentina, but always for short vacations. I am now planning to travel for 4-6 months (budget permitting) in Latin America, maybe flying into Perú (cheaper than bolivia) and then on to Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia. But I haven't done much planning yet and probably will be flying some time in october. (vaccines tomorrow morning!) I would really like to keep in touch with other people who are travelling maybe on their own or in a group, and can share expenses (and a laugh) in some legs of our journey. I am 41 yrs old (young in spirit but will not make it partying the whole night) and although a bit crazy i will definitely look after the practicalities and logistics, something I'm good at . I not only like the countryside but I'm fairly interested in cities, the politics of the place and opinion of the locals and generally just having a laugh, no need to take photos all the time. (although I can be compulsive with this). I work as an analyst in London but just about quitting my job any time now (tbh I think they are gonna let me go one of these days anyway so I may just as well take the plunge).. My email is [Link Removed] :-) for those who would like in touch. PS - I am a native Spanish speaker which might come in handy for someone whose Spanish is a bit rusty, and as a Londoner of 16 years can keep a conversation on a variety of topics with many nationalities since this is the norm here. I am fairly accustomed to travelling on a tight budget although I may need the occasional luxury ... to cut a long story short, I am looking forward to my trip!
