My goal is to see something new as often as possible. I feel like the world - contrary to popular belief - is VAST and there isn't a moment to lose in terms of travel. Where I have been just shows me how much further there is to go. I can honestly say that there are places in this very country that are far stranger than anything we will see in what some would consider exotic locals. I live in the South. :) Proudly married for a mess o'years, our greatest accomplishments are the 2 progeny who love to travel, attend theater, listen to blues and eat anything that someone will put near their heads.
Sometimes it is interesting to hear where people HATED being. I hated Greece. And Houston.
I live in a snobby neighborhood where we are summarily ignored. As a writer, I work from home (that's code for having watched all Perry Mason episodes) as does my husband (he prefers HBO "new entertainment"). We collect swords.
Kyoto! One private and breathtaking lagoon on St. John, San Francisco, cruise ships.
