One half of the writing duo Bennett & Slater, Sarah is a New Zealand travel writing specialist with a particular passion for outdoor adventure including hiking, mountain biking and camping. In addition to five editions of the New Zealand guide, she and her husband Lee Slater are co-authors of Lonely Planet’s Hiking & Tramping in New Zealand and New Zealand’s Best Trips, and contribute to many of LP’s trade titles including Wine Trails and Epic Rides.
