My body is now 23 years of age but I still feel and more often than not act with the wonder of a child. I was born in North Vancouver, Canada and grew up in a small mountain town to the north. Nothing to exciting growing up, the usual stuff from school to playing guitar in my room. After a two year stint of university I had an inkling to do something out of the ordinary. With some basic travel experience to Hawaii, Western United States, and Baja Mexico, I decided that Australia would be an easy transition and solid stepping stone to start the next chapter of my story. Since arriving on the other side of the Pacific Ocean alone, I have learned the joys of throwing myself into the wind and letting the breeze take me to wherever the universe felt I needed to be. When my journey ends in Australia after two years of work and travel through almost the entire country/continent, I will have a start to invaluable knowledge on how to free oneself from the attachments that seem to way down so many people. I don't know what originally took me to Australia. Some suggestions from friends, some nice photos online, and largely just on a whim. While here though I have met an amazing woman with similar passions as mine and now we are on the precipice of the adventure of a life time. What we have planned together is a journey through Asia, all of Asia. Starting in the Philippines and the south-eastern islands and ending with a goal of an eye witness view on Tibetan grounds of Mount Everest. After this more plans have sprouted from the seeds of our imaginations that are hard to keep pruned and in order because of their multitude. I'm easy. I do not pretend to know everything because there would be no fun in that at all! I love the ignorance that I have because it is just another opportunity to learn something new about this amazing thing called life. Eddie Vedder said it best when he sang "I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The inbetween is mine. I am mine."
