Grew up in the midwest, stuck my thumb out with $35 in my pocket the summer after high school and left when I was 18 to travel, learn and live an adventurous life. Lived in Tucson, AZ, the Florida Keys on a sailboat and rejoined my hometown girlfriend to travel Europe. One trip lead to the next and spend 4 years working and traveling our way around the world. To make a long story short, she took off with a Frenchman from Paris and I discovered Asian women even though thought I could never marry one due to such different cultural backgrounds. After going back to college in San Diego, California ( and dating a lot ) without finishing, I realized finding the right woman all depended on the particular individual, not the cultural background; I met my Filipina wife, Lorna, in Seoul, and together made enough money to semi-retire at age 30 and have been enjoying life ever since entertaining guests from 94 countries at our small 38 bedroom guesthouse style Townhouse Hotel near all 4 Manila airports and Boracay beachfront resort, Casa Camilla-Boracay with 51 Apartments. The BEST thing I ever did was "listen to a woman" but didn't admit it til I turned 40 years old; women tend to be very wise and practical which is vital to attaining financial freedom enough so traveling the world can be a lifestyle.
